San Jose Firefighters battle two early morning blazes

San Jose firefighters have been busy this week. Captain Mary Guiterrez says besides two fires early this morning there have been three fires in San Jose in the past 24 hours.

She says a large number of recent fires in San Jose have involved chimnies.
Guiterrez also says there has been a number of vacant home fires in the area recently.

The second fire this morning was a chimney fire in a multi-story home in the 3-thousand block of Norwood Avenue, near the east foothills.
