San Jose Sharks beat Vancouver Canucks 3-2

It took a shootout goal by Michal Handzus to do it, but after dropping two hard-fought contests to the Vancouver Canucks that ended 3-2 earlier this season, the Sharks finally earned a victory by the same score Monday at Rogers Arena.

“Any positive result for us at this point is important,” coach Todd McLellan said, “but in this building and against that team is also something that we needed.”
